Last night we went on a crazy road trip looking for a seven eleven (which is like the only place here in Japan with ATMs that work with foreign cards) but we eventually realized,

We were off to a slow start this morning since Tenjindaira only opened up the short middle lift to start with also we decided to chill at the lodge for a while and hope for the wind to die down a bit so that one of the longer chairlifts could open up.
