Today we got to see what this landscape actually looks like thanks to the clear skies and sun! The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking and getting to ski some pow down some of the many ridges and chutes here was so much fun!
We finally got to ski here in Japan!! The gondola leading up to the resort was supposed to open at 7 am this morning but the huge amounts of snow that fell overnight (and kept on falling during the rest of the day) in combination with strong winds postponed that time to around 10 instead.
It’s our first morning in the Japanese alps and it’s been snowing like crazy all night! The resort Tenjin Daira will open soon and we are ready to go out and get to ski some pow!
