Last night I met up with the film crew in Tokyo at the apartment they had rented in Asakusa. We went for dinner at a small place recommended by a guy working in a knife-shop that served ramen noodles that they made fresh in the restaurant.
So I just left the group and Nozawa Onsen to head back to Tokyo where I’ll catch a flight early tomorrow morning up to Hokkaido,
After skiing today we went to a nearby attraction called the Jigokudani Monkey Park where Japanese macaques, also known as snow monkeys,
Since the last train on our trip from Tenjin Lodge to Nozawa Onsen yesterday got cancelled we ended up spending a few hours in a small town in the middle of nowhere called Tokamachi.
Last night we went on a crazy road trip looking for a seven eleven (which is like the only place here in Japan with ATMs that work with foreign cards) but we eventually realized,
The lifts just closed for the day and I’m so excited to say that it’s been the best day of skiing I’ve ever experienced (so far) in my life!
