Skis with skins, bindings in touring mode, beautiful forests with untracked snow, sunshine which apparently is very rare for this time of year and just epic views of the mountains makes is just the perfect setup for a nice day of ski touring! The film crew worked on getting all the equipment like the quadrocopter ready to fly while the rest of us riders went out to explore the terrain right outside our sick lodge. It’s a cool and big house with a onsen on the bottom floor – sweet except from that it makes the whole house smell like old farts haha!
After lunch (Linus showed off with his Japanese cooking skills and made nice dish with soba noodles) we went over to the Annapuri area here in Niseko to shred some piste. Japanese opera was the choice of radio channel in the car on our way back…
It’s snowing now so looking forward to the first day of filming tomorrow!
